Viaje de Ida - FMP

This was a challenging project. During in this time I was in Cancún caring for my mother due to her cancer treatment and I had to finish my degree remotely. To complete the task, I filmed my niece at the neighbouring beach, the idea was to bring one of my lyrical poems to life. I performed the song in the bathroom and recorded myself while playing the ukulele as quiet as I could to make sure I did not disturbe anyone in the hourse. The idea was to blend digital film between my father’s Super8 camera with my DSLR. For the final edit, I shot everything twice in both formats, trying to mantain the same sequence and blended it in Premiere Pro using SPX. I also translated the song to English and finished it off  in After Effects.
